Recognition from Biblical Archaeology Review

It has been a successful year for archaeology here at the University of Haifa. The Zinman Institute, a part of the Deparment of Archaeology at the University of Haifa, recently received high-level recognition by the Biblical Archaeology Review. prehistoric archaelogy

Three of the Zinman scholars were featured in Forty Groundbreaking Articles from Forty Years of Biblical Archaeology Review (BAR). Two articles by three of the Zinman scholars, the late Prof. Adam Zertal, Prof. Arthur Segal and Dr. Michael Eisenberg, were chosen to be published in the two glamorous volumes of the BAR: Forty Groundbreaking Articles from Forty Years of Biblical Archaeology Review.

In addition, four of the Zinman scholars were featured in the in the BAR’s 40 Futures special edition. Four of the Zinman scholars, Dr. Michael Eisenberg, Prof. Ayelet Gilboa, Prof. Guy Bar Oz and Dr. Lior Weissbrod, were chosen among 40 world-wide experts to predict what’s next in archaeological world.
