A letter to prospective students for the International MBA program, written by the new Head of the Program Chalom Schirman.
Dear Potential Applicant,
As the Head of the International MBA Program at the University of Haifa, I thank you for the interest you have shown in our program and would like to inform you of upcoming innovations.
Starting in academic year 2016-2017, we are introducing significant modifications in the curriculum of the IMBA. These aim at making the program fit for an age of globalization, constant disruptive changes and the steady growing importance of East Asia in the global business world.
Our unique English-language International MBA program aims at providing you with the core knowledge, competencies and skills that will make of you a global manager capable of rapidly evolving within the increasingly dynamic, complex and competitive business environment.
In addition to a global vision, the program offers a strong regional emphasis on doing business in and with East Asian countries such as China, India, Japan and Korea. Two among its unique features include:
- A joint seminar with MBA students in China and/or in India, working together on projects and partnerships of interest for companies in both countries.
- An academic trip in China or India that will put you in direct contact with peers and managers in these countries, and allow you to exchange with them as well as discover their own country and experience their approach to management.
For more details and information, please do not hesitate to contact us by reaching out to our program coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Looking forward to hearing from you and welcoming into our new student cohort.
