View from campus

Looking out from our window on campus atop Mount Carmel, the blue hues of the Meditteranean coast sprawls below us. This proximity to the sea provides a natural marine laboratory and perfect home for the International M.Sc. Program in Marine Geosciences at the University of Haifa.

Established in 2007 as part of the multidisciplinary Leon H. Charney School of Marine Sciences, the Department of Marine Geosciences combines research and graduate studies of the marine environment in the following main disciplines: exploration geophysics, seafloor mapping, remote sensing, geodynamics, tectonics, marine and coastal sedimentology, geochemistry, chemical and physical oceanography.

He will be the first Israeli scientist on-board the JOIDES Resolution for this expedition.

If the PhD in Marine Geosciences is your goal, you may want to consider our two-year MSc Program. To learn more about the MSc program, check out our website or feel free to email us at infograd@univ.haifa.ac.il.
