New program announcement | Double Diploma in International Relations – IIR UW and University of Haifa

The University of Haifa International School is excited to offer a new International Relations Dual-Degree Masters program, in partnership with the Institute of International Relations at the University of Warsaw.

Earlier this year at the University Senate Hall at The University of Warsaw, the Rector of the University of Warsaw, Professor Marcin Palys, and the Rector of the University of Haifa, Prof. David Faraggi signed an agreement on the double diploma in international relations. The signing ceremony was also attended by: Prof. Marta Kicinska-Habior, Vice-Rector of the UW; Prof. Janusz Adamowski, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science; Prof. Edward Halizak, Director of IIR UW; Dr. Jakub Zajaczkowski, Vice Director of IIR UW; Ms. Barbara Kratiuk, coordinator for the double diploma with the UH; Prof. Hanan Alexander, Dean of Students at the UH; Prof. Michael Gross, Dean of School of Political Science UH; Prof. Zach Levey, SPS UH.

Under the agreement, students majoring in Polish and English at the IIR UW may, after completing their first year, choose to do their second year of studies at the School of Political Science of the University of Haifa (studies in English, two specialties: Diplomacy and National Security). After completing the year at the University of Haifa and writing a joint MA thesis, the students will receive an MA degree from both the University of Warsaw and the University of Haifa. The double degree program is also offered to students of the University of Haifa.

This is the first double-degree agreement offered at the University of Warsaw with a university from Israel. Please see the Diplomacy studies website at the University of Haifa, or email for more details.
